Promoting Restoration

With so much of Tahoe’s wetlands and forests damaged by development, restoration is a key component of bringing Tahoe’s clarity back to historical levels. With climate change, it is increasingly important to safeguard Tahoe’s remaining meadows through hands-on restoration events and advocacy. Fully-functioning streams and meadows make for a resilient ecosystem, more able to adapt to a changing climate. Learn more about our current programs below.
