The League is excited to be developing a new education center in our future home – a building we’re currently renovating in South Lake Tahoe (see the press release here).
This new education center is for you! It’s important that we receive input from community members, like yourself, to incorporate common themes into our plans.
We want to ensure that this center is the best for Lake Tahoe that it can be. This will be a place for locals and visitors alike to learn more about why Lake Tahoe is so special, the threats it faces, and ways to protect it.
The development of the new education center will take place over the course of 2024, with the goal of hosting the initial opening in the summer 2025.
