Payton Runkle
Payton Runkle is a Communications intern at Keep Tahoe Blue, where she contributes to the creation and development of branded content for multi-channel campaigns and helps drive media and PR coverage.
As a third-year student at UC Santa Barbara, Payton is studying communication and gaining experience through her coursework and as a research assistant for the Department of Communication. She enjoys her major and loves learning more about how people connect and rely on different tools to do so. While continuing to take coursework related to her major, Payton has also taken courses to further expand her knowledge of the environment and to find ways to minimize her impact on the planet.
In her free time, Payton enjoys going to the beach, reading, hiking, swimming, and spending time with friends. She loves exploring the Lake Tahoe Basin and its surroundings, always searching for new trails and hidden lakes to discover.
