Melissa Franz
Melissa supports the work of the Chief Operating Officer by managing finances, human resources and operations for the organization. She manages the League’s financial practices and reporting including the day-to-day book and record keeping and budgeting. She also coordinates office services, information technology and team building strategies. She joined the League staff in 2018.
Prior to the League, Melissa worked in a supervisory role at Heavenly Mountain Resort where she enjoyed managing staff and improving human resources. She studied accounting and business at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville before moving to Tahoe in 2014.
Melissa was born and raised in New Hampshire where she grew up on Lake Winnipesaukee. She has a passion for preservation of natural resources and is very excited about her role at the League. In her spare time she is an avid fisherwoman, snowboarder, and outdoor enthusiast.
