MK is joining our Programs team and will be supporting our community events — including the Keep Tahoe Red, White, and Blue cleanup — and sustainable recreation efforts, including Tahoe Blue Crew.

Growing up in South Lake Tahoe, MK was able to explore the beautiful environment the area had to offer. As a teenager, MK worked at Taylor Creek Visitor Center to support their environmental education programs. She has also supported the Sierra Nevada Alliance’s ambassador program by helping high school students become environmental ambassadors for Lake Tahoe. MK has her B.S. In environmental management and recreation from the University of California, Davis.

She enjoys relaxing outside with friends, such as spending a day at the beach, and also enjoys hiking. She loves being creative by crafting.
