He leads cross-department communications efforts, from managing Keep Tahoe Blue’s website and digital campaigns to building data-driven systems that strengthen collaboration and amplify impact. With a background in SEO, content marketing, and brand strategy, Hector approaches every campaign as both an artist and analyst, ensuring that creative ideas are grounded in measurable results.
Before joining the League in 2023, he spent more than seven years as a digital marketing whiz helping organizations translate big ideas into action through targeted storytelling and branded campaigns. At Keep Tahoe Blue, he continues that work by bringing fresh thinking and modern tools, including AI and marketing automation, to streamline operations and scale the League’s storytelling. His focus is on seeing familiar challenges in new ways and transforming insights into strategies that inspire action to protect Lake Tahoe.
A Tahoe resident since 2003, Hector spends his free time exploring the same places he works to protect — snowboarding, hitting the water, and exploring around the Tahoe Basin.
