Evie Usich
As North Shore Community Liaison, Evie connects residents, visitors, and other local stakeholders with Keep Tahoe Blue’s mission and programming. She is excited to help expand partnerships within the Truckee and North Shore communities.
Evie brings a background in environmental education, outreach, and research. She earned a degree in Marine Science with a minor in Environmental Analysis and Policy, where her research on coastal ecosystems deepened her passion for understanding the relationship between people and the natural environment. She believes that meaningful conservation begins with community engagement and enjoys helping people connect with science, stewardship, and the outdoors.
Originally from the Bay Area, Evie spent several years living in New England before moving to Tahoe. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking with her dog, being on or around any sort of water, and knitting.
