Dianne grew up along the California coast in Santa Barbara, attended high school in Monterey and later UC Berkeley. A high school ski trip to Homewood and the smell of the mountains sparked her lifelong love for Lake Tahoe. During college, she spent summers working at Hacienda Del Lago and selling photos on the Truckee River, while her days off were filled with rock diving into the cold, clear waters of Speedboat Beach.

These early experiences became cherished core memories she would revisit with her husband and children while backpacking in Desolation Wilderness and living in the Tahoe Basin.

Dianne is a seasoned trial attorney with 38 years of experience. She brings sharp legal insight and a deep passion for public policy. She is particularly interested in legislative approaches that protect Tahoe’s environment while ensuring equitable public access.

She joined the League’s Board of Directors to help preserve the Lake’s natural beauty and inspire future generations to make Tahoe part of their story, just as it became part of hers.
