Catherine Marken Boyle is a fifth-generation Californian who grew up spending summers at Lake Tahoe and cares deeply about the health of Lake Tahoe and the Tahoe basin. Catherine received a B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

She practiced corporate and municipal litigation before taking time off to raise her family and is now back practicing law as a volunteer attorney for the Northern California Innocence Project.

Catherine served on Keep Tahoe Blue’s Board of Directors from 2018 to 2024.
