The Council’s mission is to support and strengthen the League to Save Lake Tahoe’s ability to protect Lake Tahoe through connections with influencers, environmental professionals and accomplished conservationists to ensure our effectiveness in preserving Lake Tahoe now and for future generations. The Council’s members deepen their commitment to the Lake by introducing the League’s work to their networks.

What is the Forever Blue Council? The Forever Blue Council (Council) is a collection of experts, past board members and stewards who have been asked to join by invitation. Members of the Council are a group of dedicated philanthropic leaders, environmental professionals, and influencers who share a passion to protect Lake Tahoe and Keep Tahoe Blue. The enhanced stature for the League provided by these associations increases our effectiveness in preserving Lake Tahoe now and for future generations.
What is the Council’s mission? To support and strengthen the League to Save Lake Tahoe’s ability to protect Lake Tahoe through our connections with business, science, conservation and legislative leaders. The Council’s members deepen their commitment to the Lake by advocating for the League within their networks.
What is required from me as a member? Nothing! Your role is simply to endorse the League.
Do I have to attend any meetings? Only if you want to. Many of the meetings will be social and most will be virtual.
What do I get as a member? Invitation to exclusive events, insider updates from the CEO and CSO, name recognition as a Council member, and exclusive Council apparel.
