- Honor and remember your loved ones with a special contribution to Keep Tahoe Blue. Check “Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone” when filling out our donation form.
- If you want to notify someone of your gift, include their contact information in the “Recipient information” section along with a thoughtful message.

Donate stock
- What is a stock gift?
  - Many donors choose to make gifts in the form of stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares. Donors of securities may gain tax benefits by giving long-term securities that have appreciated in value.
- How do I donate stock?
  - To transfer shares to the brokerage account of the beneficiary via electronic transfer, please email the Finance Director melissa@keeptahoeblue.org to receive specific instructions.
  - Please include your name and contact information when transferring stock so Keep Tahoe Blue can formally record and acknowledge your contribution.

Donate through your donor advised fund
- What is a donor-advised fund?
  - A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a donor-advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to the League to Save Lake Tahoe, directly from your DAF.
- How does it work?
  - Establish your DAF by making an irrevocable, tax-deductible donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.
  - Direct the investment allocation of the donated assets.
  - Recommend grants to the charities you support, with the option of being recognized or remaining anonymous.
  - Become eligible to take an immediate tax deduction.

  - Leaving even 1% of your estate can make a lasting difference for Lake Tahoe for generations to come. Plan your bequest or make changes to your existing will and claim your part in the history of Keep Tahoe Blue.
