Join Keep Tahoe Blue, the UC Master Gardeners, and the South Tahoe Public Utility District for a free outdoor class: Fall into Gardening.
Fall is the season to prepare your garden for healthy and vigorous growth next spring. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn:
- How to plant and water in fall and winter
- Ways to protect your garden plants and irrigation systems over the colder months
- Which plants take center stage in late-season gardens
The class includes a guided tour of the Keep Tahoe Blue garden and live demos with practical tips and tricks to take home.
When: Saturday, October 11, 2025 | 1 – 2:30 pm
Where: Spurlock/Evers Environment & Education Center, Outdoor Auditorium | 2877 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe
What to bring:
- A seating pad
- Sun and cold protection
- Your gardening questions
Don’t forget your reusable water bottles, as a water refill station is available.
Please note: There is limited parking at the Keep Tahoe Blue lot, but overflow parking is available across Hwy 50 at the old Denny’s (5-minute walk). No parking is available on residential streets adjacent to the building.
