Join us at Kings Beach for a post-Memorial Day cleanup! 

On holiday weekends during the summer, beaches take the brunt of the impact. The litter that gets left behind can hurt wildlife and the lake’s clarity. Be part of the solution! Join us, Tahoe residents, and visitors at Kings Beach to make a positive impact on the environment by removing litter from Lake Tahoe’s shores.

Sign up: Pre-registration will open soon. 

  • If you do not pre-register, you will need to complete a volunteer waiver onsite during check-in.
  • Note for minors:
    • Volunteers under 18 – will need to create a volunteer account and provide a guardian email to complete the waiver online.
    • Volunteers under 13 – will need to provide a guardian email to create a volunteer account and complete the waiver online.
    • If you are having trouble registering minors online, please register day of at the check-in tent onsite at your location of choice.

Parking: Free parking will be available to volunteers. Once you park, check-in at the meeting location and we will provide to you a parking pass.

Meeting location: On the sand near the North Tahoe Event Center – 8318 N Lake Blvd, Kings Beach, CA 96143

Time: The cleanup will take place from 8 am – 11:30 am

Be sure to bring:

  • Full reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Cleanup gloves (if you have them)
  • Wear layers to protect from the cold and sun: hat, sunglasses, warm clothing and winter shoes
  • Any snacks you would like
  • Full reusable water bottle

We will provide:

  • Cleanup materials (gloves, bags, etc.)
  • Cool giveaways from Keep Tahoe Blue
