Grab your pup and join Keep Tahoe Blue and our partners at Wilderdog for a fun afternoon of stewardship on one of Tahoe’s most dog-friendly trails!
We’ll clean up litter and pet waste along the Lam Watah Nature Trail and Nevada Beach. Every piece of litter picked up and bag of dog waste properly disposed of helps preserve Tahoe’s trails, beaches, and waters clean for people and pets alike.
As a special celebration of our new partnership with Wilderdog, volunteers will have the chance to win some great dog-friendly prizes, including:
- $200 Wilderdog.com gift card
- Wilderdog Crap Carrier and a roll of waste bags
- Limited-edition Keep Tahoe Blue x Wilderdog Cooling Bandana
If you’re bringing your dog, please make sure they’re friendly, comfortable around other dogs and people, and remain leashed throughout the event.
Location & Parking:
- Lam Watah Nature Trail to Nevada Beach | 193 Kahle Dr, Stateline, NV 89449
- Free parking is available at the Lam Watah Nature Trail trailhead. Street parking is also available on Khale Drive if the lot is full.
What to bring:
- Your dog (optional, but encouraged!)
- A leash (all dogs must remain leashed)
- Reusable water bottle
- Comfortable walking shoes and sun protection
Keep Tahoe Blue will provide litter grabbers, gloves, trash bags, and safety instructions before the cleanup begins.

- Final details will be sent to those who sign up a few days prior to the event. If you do not pre-register, you will need to complete a volunteer waiver onsite during check-in.
- Volunteers under 18 – will need to create a volunteer account and provide a guardian’s email to complete the waiver online.
- Volunteers under 13 – will need to provide a guardian’s email to create a volunteer account and complete the waiver online.
