Help Shape the Future of Emerald Bay
Every summer, thousands of people visit Emerald Bay, creating traffic, roadside parking, and safety challenges that affect both visitors and Lake Tahoe. You can help provide the information needed to improve one of Tahoe’s busiest destinations.
Join Keep Tahoe Blue as a volunteer parking data collector and support efforts to better understand visitation patterns along Highway 89. Working in teams, volunteers will collect parking observations that help guide transportation planning and future solutions for Emerald Bay.
No experience is necessary. We’ll provide the training, equipment, and support you need before heading into the field.
