Mountain communities are on the front lines of climate change, and practical solutions are already taking shape in Lake Tahoe.

Keep Tahoe Blue will participate in the 2026 Mountain Towns 2030 Climate Summit on October 13 in Sun Valley, Idaho. The summit brings together community leaders, nonprofits, businesses, and sustainability experts from across the West to share strategies for reducing emissions and strengthening climate resilience.

Jesse Patterson, Chief Strategy Officer at Keep Tahoe Blue, will moderate a panel on sustainable transportation solutions in South Lake Tahoe. Gavin Feiger, Policy Director at Keep Tahoe Blue, will join the discussion as a panelist.

The session will explore how lake-friendly transportation can reduce pollution, improve mobility, ease congestion, and protect the environmental health of mountain destinations.
