You can stop the spread of aquatic invasive species and Keep Tahoe Blue. Do your part and be entered for a chance to win gear for your next day on the water. It is easy, free, and protects Lake Tahoe.
How to enter:
- Submit an Eyes on the Lake survey.
- Report aquatic invasive species using the free citizen-science web app to help prevent their spread to other parts of the lake.
- Register as a Tahoe Keeper
- Learn how to Clean, Drain, and Dry your watercraft and gear to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic invaders.
- Select opt-in to be entered. Up to four (4) eligible entries April 15 – May, and up to four (4) eligible entries per month starting in June. Tahoe Keeper registration constitutes one (1) eligible entry in the month registered. Each Eyes on the Lake submission counts for up to three (3) eligible entries April 15 – May 30, and up to three (3) eligible entries starting in June.

- At stake: Lake Tahoe’s famous clarity! Aquatic invasive species can permanently alter Lake Tahoe’s ecology and water quality. When you do your part to stop the spread of invasive species, you are helping Keep Tahoe Blue. Learn more about our Eyes on the Lake citizen science program.

Dates: The contest is open from April 15, 2026, at 12:00 am to September 30, 2026, at 11:59 pm. No entries will be accepted after September 15, 2026.
