Good beer can do more than fill a pint glass. These Tahoe Blue Businesses are showing how breweries can reduce their impact, support Keep Tahoe Blue, and help care for Lake Tahoe in real ways.
From sustainable brewing practices to Tahoe Blue Crews and community support, they are showing how everyday business choices can make a difference. When you support these breweries, you support the kind of Tahoe more of us want to experience and protect. |

Alibi Ale Works supports Tahoe not just through what they brew, but through how they show up. They recently hosted Keep Tahoe Blue's 2026 Volunteer Kickoff at their Incline Public House and continue to support Tahoe through in-kind donations and advocacy. Their brewing process reflects that same mindset. Alibi uses a unique dry-hopping method that reduces carbon dioxide use, reducing their environmental impact while crafting high-quality brews. That commitment to doing things the right way has earned Alibi an EPA Pollution Prevention Recognition Award. Whether they are opening their doors to volunteers or refining their brewing process, Alibi is showing that everyday business choices can add up to real impact for Tahoe. |

For The Brewer's Cabinet, supporting Tahoe started with seeing the problem up close. After witnessing the impact of post-Fourth-of-July litter firsthand, the team at The Brewer's Cabinet decided to take action.
They formed their own Tahoe Blue Crew to support cleanups and are relaunching their Tahoe Blonde Brew this summer, with a portion of proceeds going directly to Keep Tahoe Blue to help fund litter cleanups around the Tahoe Basin.
Their community mindset extends beyond Tahoe. At their Reno production facility, they also host a monthly "Hops and Harvest" Farmers Market, bringing together local vendors, artists, and fresh produce to support the regional community.
"After seeing the impact after the 5th of July cleanup every year and then learning about the organization's decades of work to protect the Lake, it was a no-brainer," said owner Michael Connolly. "Let's do something that gives back to the natural wonder in Reno's own backyard." |

At South Lake Tahoe Brewing Company, community gathering and low-impact living go hand in hand.
Their taproom reflects a sustainability-minded approach to brewing, and they actively encourage alternatives to driving by hosting bike valet services with the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition during events.
They also recently brought people together through hosting an Earth Day Festival and continue to show up with their own Tahoe Blue Crew at cleanups throughout the year.
It is a strong example of what the Tahoe Blue Business program is meant to encourage: businesses that do more than serve customers well. They help shape a Tahoe culture that is more connected, more community-minded, and better for the Lake. |
