The League is launching our summer campaign to “Keep Tahoe Red, White & Blue” and we need your help.

Every summer, tens of thousands of people gather in Tahoe to celebrate the 4th of July. And every summer, the trash left behind threatens the Lake’s blue waters. This year, we’re taking action to stop the problem before it starts by:

  • Leading a Tahoe coalition to make sure at-risk areas have more litter-prevention resources in place.
  • Rolling out the robots in partnership with ECO-CLEAN Solutions to remove trash buried below the sand – before and after the holiday.
  • Banning single-use plastics, including water bottles in South Lake Tahoe, the first municipal ban of its kind in the country.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Support a Clean-up: $100 can pick up 10 lbs of trash. Last year we picked up over 8,000 lbs of trash on July 5th. We need 800 donors to make sure we're ready for anything.
  • Leave Tahoe better than you found it. Enjoy the beach and be sure it’s pristine when you leave. And join our July 5th cleanup event. Scroll down to sign up!

Human problems need human solutions. Give today and join the fight to Keep Tahoe Blue!
