As Operations Coordinator, Maggie provides direct support to the Chief Operating Officer and helps oversee day-to-day operations at the League. She brings over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector to her role, including fundraising, program coordination and community engagement.

Maggie holds a master’s degree in public administration from San Francisco State University. She has a long history of environmental and nonprofit advocacy, which began when she and friends created Joint Awareness for Mother Nature (J.A.M.N.) in high school. The club developed and launched a recycling and environmental advocacy program. While in college, she interned then worked with Planet Drum Foundation, a bio-regional education organization in San Francisco. Most recently, she worked with Head Start, a federally funded pre-school where she engaged directly with parents.

She enjoys volunteering and has donated her time on an organic farm and in environmental restoration and education in Ecuador. She also enjoys traveling, hiking and swimming in beautiful Lake Tahoe.
