Q: Describe an accomplishment you are most proud of since you started at the League. Since starting at the League, the accomplishment I am most proud of is my efforts to grow and improve our Citizen Science programs to make getting involved as simple as ever. This isn’t one specific thing but many smaller ones such as making preserved plant displays for Eyes on the Lake, offering online trainings and adding new pipes for the Pipe Keepers program.
Q: What is your favorite volunteer event you have worked with the League? Why should others join in? My favorite volunteer event I have worked with the League is Snapshot Day because it is a really cool opportunity for literally anyone to collect real data that gives us important information about the health of our watershed.
Q: What is one goal you wish to accomplish for the League? I would love to educate everyone that lives or visits the basin about the threats facing our beautiful Lake and inspire each of those people to get involved in some way.Q: What is the last book you read and what did you enjoy most about it? I just finished reading the first three books of the Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. I really enjoy fantasy/sci-fi novels and getting lost in the crazy worlds the authors create.
