Join us for a free Eyes on the Lake training and survey of Sawmill Pond! This training is open to the public, all ages welcome.

Eyes on the Lake training and surveyLearn how to identify Tahoe's various native and invasive aquatic plants and get real, hands-on practice on how to survey and report observations of aquatic plants by surveying Sawmill Pond. 

Eyes on the Lake volunteers are an integral part of tracking the spread of aquatic invasive plants in Lake Tahoe in order to identify and control new populations early.

Trained volunteers are eligible and ecouraged to participate in on-the-ground surveys being conducted at Stampede Reservoir near Truckee this summer. Check our events page to RSVP.
