Help us survey Summit Lake for aquatic invasive plants!*
Put your aquatic plant identification skills to work at this on the ground survey event. Small groups will walk the shoreline looking for, collecting, identifying and tracking any aquatic species found.
This event is open to all previously trained Eyes on the Lake volunteers. Need to get trained or want a refresher? Check our Events Page for upcoming trainings.
NOTE: Accessing Summit Lake requires hiking approximately 5 miles round trip with moderate steepness at high elevation (7,400'). We ask surveyors participating in this survey to be comfortable hiking and come prepared with lots of water, proper layers and footwear.
RSVP by completing the waiver here: 2021 Waiver.
*All state and local COVID-19 precautions will be in place for survey events. Please check back closer to the event for specific guidelines.
