The Shuttle is Returning Soon!

Rides anticipated to start mid-June 2026

Take a shuttle to and from Tahoe's most iconic destination, and leave your car parked.

For the summer of 2026, shuttles will run seven days a week, mid-June through Labor Day.

Alongside the shuttle, illegal and unsafe roadside parking spaces in Emerald Bay will be removed to improve public safety.

FARES, ROUTES & HOURS

  • Weekday hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Monday – Thursday)
  • Weekend and holiday hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Friday – Sunday)
  • Fares: $5 one way / $10 roundtrip
  • Reduced fares: $2.50 one way / $5 roundtrip for children under 12, adults ages 65+, veterans, riders with disabilities, and Medicare cardholders
  • Routes:
    West Shore Route - Stops: Sugar Pine Point Campground, Emerald Bay
    South Shore Route - Stops: South Tahoe "Y" Transit Center, Camp Richardson, Emerald Bay
