Nicole GergansProgram Advocate Nicole has been with the League since May of 2008. Her work has included advocating for stricter regulations relating to Quagga mussel prevention, supporting projects that will reduce sediment to the lake, and working to ensure that Community Enhancement Program projects supply substantial environmental benefits to the Basin. Nicole joined our team after receiving her Masters of Science in Environmental and Natural Resources Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2007 where she studied water quality in Sierran stream environment zones. Nicole takes her dog Casper to the beach everyday for continued inspiration on what we are working so hard trying to protect. |
